Commissions
How the commission process works
We discuss what you are thinking through photos, drawings,
and concepts. A video meeting can also be arranged.
You provide me with an image or a resource for what you
would like done. You should take into consideration my style
(but that's what got you here) and how it will translate
into what you are looking for.
I will provide a mock-up of what I am going to paint. We can
again review the idea of the work at this time (but remember
the final product will change).
A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required before I start.
The process of creating the commission begins and it will be
finished within the time arranged (deadlines help me focus).
Once completed the painting is photographed and an image
sent to you.
If you are happy with the final work then full payment
should be made, and your painting will be packaged and
couriered to you.
FAQ
Q: What will the commission cost?
A: I price my work by size, measured by cm2.
Q: What about packaging and postage costs?
A: No charge for freight inside New Zealand, but for
international clients there will be a freight/courier cost
passed on.
Q: What if the final painting is not what I had in mind?
A: If you do not want to complete the purchase for any
reason you are under no obligation to do so, but you will
forfeit the deposit.
